The final year students of the BA in Contemporary and Applied Theatre Studies at Mary Immaculate College are set to take to the stage at Lime Tree Theatre with a production of All In The Timing by American playwright David Ives, running from Wednesday April 29 to Thursday May 1 at 8pm nightly.

Often described as a master of short-form theatre, Ives presents six one-act plays that explore language, mortality and human connection through a blend of wit and invention.

The evening ranges from a café encounter between strangers to Leon Trotsky contemplating his own assassination across multiple genres, and a troupe of chimpanzees earnestly attempting to type the works of Shakespeare.

Directed by Ann Blake, All In The Timing promises to be a playful, entertaining and surprising experience, with a delicate balance of drama and comedy.
