SINN Féin General Election candidate for County Limerick, Cllr Seamus Browne has urged people to use their vote to scrap water charges and to abolish Irish Water.

Cllr Browne pointed out that Sinn Féin is looking for a mandate from the people of the constituency to go into government and deliver on the aims of the anti-water charges movement.

“Sinn Féin is the only party, which stands a reasonable chance of being in government, that has committed to the unequivocal scrapping of the charges, the abolition of Irish Water, and ending of the metering programme,” claimed Cllr Browne.

“Voters in Limerick know that the debacle that is Irish Water has seen millions upon millions of euros wasted in pursuit of implementing an unfair and unjust tax that hits low and middle income families hardest. Irish Water must go, and water charges must go.”
