He said he would name his strongest side to face Montauban in their final pool one match, and that is exactly what Munster head coach Tony McGahan did. 

Sticking with the side that dispatched of the English Premiership challenge of Sale last Friday night, McGahan noted the intensity and passion of the Munster team that came back to training this week

and said that they were very much focused on bringing a huge performance over to France this weekend when his side take on Montauban and look for the win to bring another huge crowd to Thomond Park for a momentous home quarter final in the retention of the Heineken Cup.

Captain and second row ginat, Paul O’Connell though the performance of the team last week ranked amongst one of the best that the side has produced in recent times and knows that the importance of consistency is key to Munster doingf well in this competition.

Munster line out against Montauban on Saturday at 16.35 (local time) with coverage televised on Sky Sports.
