LIMERICK will come together to celebrate Africa Day with a free, family‑friendly open‑air event at People’s Park this Saturday (May 23) from 12.00pm to 3.00pm.
The event is led by Limerick City and County Council’s Local Authority Integration Team (LAIT) in partnership with Doras, with support from Limerick Sports Partnership, and is funded through Irish Aid at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
The afternoon will offer a range of fun activities for families and children, including bouncy castles, sports games and activities, and face painting.
Visitors can also enjoy African food, a live DJ, and performances by a gospel choir.
