Bud Light Tag Teams Registering for the Summer Ahead

All across the mid-west, clubs will be hopping with activity over the summer as Bud Light Tag brings eager players to the host venues. This year Garryowen FC in Limerick will build upon its previous three years of Bud Light Tag and host a vibrant Tag season for all involved. An exciting development at the venue is the addition of the all new 4G all weather pitch.

Nenagh Ormond RFC in North Tipperary look set to increase their leagues to 30 teams this year thereby continuing the great tradition of tag rugby at the venue.

In the South West, Rugbai Corca Dhuibhne (Dingle Rugby Club) will run its third Bud Light Tag Beach Tag event. Each year teams descend upon this most scenic part of the Kerry coast to play Bud Light Tag on the beautiful beach and of course enjoy a weekend away together in the Gaelteacht. Event details will be announced later in the spring.

Tag Rugby has been highly successful in spreading the popularity of the game of rugby and Tag’s non-contact nature and social aspect have made it accessible to both men and women in the specially graded levels. Teams looking to take part can register on www.irfutag.ie with registration fees remaining at 2009 prices, providing a great value summer mix of sport and social life to all participating.
