Mac3 – of the I Love Hip Hop Crew.

Limerickโ€™s I Love HipHop crew bring a night dedicated to the art of hip hop, showcasing the music, the MCs, the B-boys and B-girls of the genre. The Limrockers will perform jaw dropping acrobatic spins flips and kicks with local DJโ€™s Mac3, Rainers and Eggz cutting, scratching and dropping the beats on St. Stephens night.

Most embarrassing record purchased?
MC Hammerโ€™s Canโ€™t Touch This
Funniest thing that ever happened at a gig: Driving for three hours to a gig with two record boxes in hand only to find that the club only had CD players, so did a 4 hour set from mixtapes and CDโ€™s from my car, still tore the roof off.
Why do Irish audiences love hip hop? โ€œHip Hop came from the streets and made itโ€™s way to the studio unlike many artists today who are studio puppets. There is a down to earth connection between musician and listener, not manufacturedย  just raw emotion which people admire.โ€
You can hear Mac 3 at myspace.com/mac3foshizle and at the I Love Hip Hop Special Christmas Gig on December 26 in The Loft (upstairs in the Locke bar) with DJs Rainers, Daragh Flynn and Eggz.
