THE IRISH Cancer Society and the Mid Western Cancer Foundation partnered up to provide 600 free counselling sessions at the Mid West Cancer Support Centre at Mungret College across 2025.
The Society presented €18,000 to Mid Western Cancer Foundation to deliver the services. These free services can be availed of by cancer patients, survivors, and their family members.
In addition to counselling, the Foundation also provides a range of holistic therapies including reflexology, massage, reiki and Indian head massage, as well as community engagement, education, and advice programmes.
