Ford’s new Focus a hit with fleet orders

IRELAND’S largest distributor of products to the automotive, construction and metal trades has taken delivery of 23 new Ford Focus models for its nationwide sales staff.
With facilities in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Letterkenny and Belfast, Wurth employs 158 people and has a sales team of 119 who provide a comprehensive range of services to the company’s varied customer base across the 32 counties.

Hugh Lynch, area manager with Wurth, said: “The new Focus is the ideal vehicle for our teams on the road.  Our staff appreciate its great driving dynamics and the car’s reliability – in our job, reliability is everything.”
Ciaran McMahon, Ford Ireland’s fleet manager, said: “With its all round great driving ability, up to the minute technology and highly efficient engines, the new Ford Focus is an excellent choice as a fleet car.  And with its low running costs, the Focus is ideally suited for these times”.
The models have highly efficient 1.6 litre TDCi diesel engines with CO2 emissions of just 109 g/km placing them in tax band A.  The Focus models also come with fuel efficient Auto-Start-Stop technology as standard.
Ford main dealers locally are Lyons of Limerick and Nenagh; T. Sheils on the Ennis Road; Cavanagh’s of Charleville and Dan Dooley Ford Centre, Knocklong.
