City fires cause extensive damage

A FIRE broke out at a city centre venue earlier this week.  Several units of the Limerick City Firebrigade attended “The Hub” at the corner of Den,ark Street and High Street, after a fire broke out on Monday evening.  The blaze is believed to have caused a great deal of damage to the city centre design and print premises. No injuries were reported.

Meanwhile, a technical examination was to be carried out after fire broke out at a house on Oliver Plunkett Street in St Mary’s Park.
Three units of the fire brigade, along with members of the Emergency services attended the fire that broke out at 5.30am on Monday morning last.
The causes to both fires are as of yet unknown.
