A CORBALLY woman is organising an ’80’s fancy dress party to remember her sister who passed away from cancer at the age of 43. Annemarie McNally Rice, who is originally from Ardnacrusha, lost her only sister Eileen to ovarian cancer in 2008. “I wish I’d known about the supports available from the Irish Cancer Society then. They do fantastic work and all money raised will go to them,” said the mother of three. The event will take place on June 21 at 8pm in Bentley’s Courtyard on O’Connell Street. There will be a BBQ, prizes for best costume, a raffle and spotprizes. Tickets are €10 and available at the door.
