Groups to benefit from council funding

UNIVERSITY Concert Hall in UL and the Foynes Aviation and Maritime museum will benefit most from the Limerick County Council Contribution Scheme 2013. They are due to receive €18k and €15k respectively as part of the €95k fund to support organisations in arts, culture and tourism as well as animal welfare and marine rescue. Adare Heritage Trust is due to receive €10k. The Irish Chamber Orchestra, Askeaton Civic Trust Heritage Centre, Limerick Marine Search and Rescue, Abbeyfeale Search and Rescue and the Belltable Arts Centre will get €5k each. Firarsgate Theatre and Lough Gur Development Association will receive €3k. The Hunt Museum is due to get €2.5k while Comhalatas Ceoltóirí Eireann, Community Games, St Gabriels Hydrotherapy Pool, West Limerick Community Radio, East Limerick Community Radio, Abbeyfeale Town Park and the Rape Crisis Mid-West are all set to receive €2k.  Limerick Youth Service will get €1.5k. Limerick SPCA, Limerick Animal Welfare and Limerick Musical Society will then receive €1k each.
