ANNABEL Dundon, the 23-year-old sister of convicted gangland criminals Wayne, John, Dessie and Gerard Dundon is to be arrested on foot of a European arrest warrant over threats to kill former State prosecution witness, April Collins.

A bench warrant was issued last May for her arrest after she failed to turn up at Limerick Circuit Court on charges related to the alleged incident after ending her relationship with Ger Dundon with whom she had three children.

23-year-old Annabel Dundon left Limerick after she was charged with threatening to kill her brother’s ex girlfriend in Murroe, Co Limerick on April 9, 2011.

Ms Collins was living in the village with her partner convicted rapist Thomas O’Neill at the time of the alleged threat. However, the couple no longer live there as Thomas O’Neill is currently serving a three and a half year prison sentence.

Ger Dundon is due for release after Christmas having completed his sentence for violent disorder.

When Annabel Dundon failed to appear at the Circuit Court, Judge Carroll Moran issued a bench warrant for her arrest.

The Limerick Post understands that a recent application was brought before the courts by the State for the issue of a European arrest warrant in relation to Ms Dundon.
