Iconic image of Christmas to roll into Limerick

Coca-Cola WeihnachtstruckTHE iconic Coca-Cola Christmas truck is to arrive in Limerick this Friday evening to spread some joy in their temporary festive set up at Coonagh Cross on the outskirts of the city.

To many of us, the sight of Coca-Cola’s iconic ‘Holidays Are Coming’ advert signifies the start of the Christmas season. People across Limerick can be set for even more festive joy with the unmistakable Coca-Cola Christmas truck set to visit Tesco Coonagh on December 12 next.

The Coca-Cola Christmas truck will at 4.30pm, stationing itself at the car park until 9pm. The people of Limerick will have the chance to take photos with the famous truck as it lights up (just like the advert), with the opportunity for their image to be immediately uploaded to their social networks, whilst enjoying a snowy winter wonderland setting and a refreshing Coca-Cola or Diet Coke as a choir sings Christmas hits.

In addition to Limerick the iconic Coca-Cola Christmas truck will be stopping at six additional locations across Ireland and Northern Ireland, giving fans the opportunity to take part in a unique experience by getting up close and personal to the famous vehicle.

Ever since the Coca-Cola Christmas truck first appeared on screens in November 1995, it has become a regular feature of festive TV schedules in more than 100 different countries. It is universally recognised as the start of the countdown to Christmas.
