GAA – Club Limerick host ‘Evening at the Races’

CLUB Limerick will host their annual evening at the races at Limerick Race Course on Friday evening, 19th June 2015. First race gets underway at 5.30pm and after picking the winners of the 7 races on the card you will be entertained by “Prison Love” till late !

This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to begin a great sporting weekend of hurling. There will be a feast of fun and action both on and off the course with our Coaching and Games staff on hand to keep your eye on the ball, and a host of entertainers to get you into the mood and prepare you for the atmosphere of Sunday’s games. All GAA supporters are encouraged to come along to the races and show their support for our Intermediate and Senior Hurling Teams who take on Tipperary on Sunday and our Senior Footballers who will take on Tyrone on Sunday, 28th June. Prepaid general admittance tickets are available from any Club or from the Club Limerick Office at Aras Munham.

You can also make a reservation in the Panoramic Restaurant where you can enjoy a 3 course dinner, full bar facilities, waiter service and tote betting. Entry fee to include admission, race card and reserved table is €100 per person, contact the Club Limerick Office at Aras Munham at 061 326500 to make a reservation. In addition there will be an option to purchase 5 stand tickets for the Munster Hurling Semi Final, Limerick V Tipperary, in Pairc na Gael on Sunday, 21st June for every table reservation of 10 persons confirmed and paid.

Club Limerick Commercial Manager, John Loftus said that “We expect every club will be represented at the races and the momentum generated will carry through to the teams on Sunday in the Gaelic Grounds. We hope that our support can start at the Races and finish on Sunday evening in the Gaelic Grounds with a double victory for our teams and players”.
