Almost 100 women and children are due to attend a Teddy Bears Picnic in Manor Fields Playground in Adare this weekend. The event has been organised by a mother from the ‘Limerick Mammy and Baby Meet Up’ Facebook group, Michelle Hayes.
The Meet Up will feature a picnic with the bears in the all abilities playground and plenty of coffee from Aroma Coffee who are a mobile coffee stand based every weekend at the Adare playground.
This is due to be a fun event for children and parents alike. The Facebook group, which was founded by Marie Ryan, is highly popular in Limerick has almost 900 members.
This event begins at 11am on July 11 and is part of the project fundraising for the second phase of development at the community owned and managed flagship amenity in Adare Co. Limerick.
