With just days to go until the Christmas lights are switched on in Limerick City, Limerick’s main media outlets are showing their festive spirit by pledging their support to the ‘Christmas In Limerick 2015’ programme.

The Limerick Leader, The Limerick Post and Limerick’s Live 95FM have given their backing to a comprehensive Christmas programme of events which is currently being prepared and will be launched on www.limerick.ie/christmas in the coming days.

The magic of Christmas descends on the streets of Limerick City this Sunday from 4.30pm as members of the public enjoy a host of musical entertainment and a live outside broadcast by Live 95FM before being invited to join Santa Claus as he performs the official switching on of the Christmas Lights (circa 6.00pm).

The switching on of the lights heralds the beginning of an exciting programme of events which commences with ‘Celebrating Christmas in Limerick – The City of Fashion 2015’ which will see Ireland’s leading stylist and fashion icon, Celia Holman Lee bringing the latest fashions to the streets of Limerick in the run up to Christmas.

‘City of Fashion’ features a mix of live fashion events, style, hair and make-up demonstrations, and a series of in-store events kicking off on Monday 23rd November with the ‘Design & Style @ Limerick Craft Hub’ event, showcasing the very best of unique and local Irish design.
