THE family of a Limerick man who is missing in the UK for over two weeks is appealing for information as to his whereabouts as they are growing deeply concerned for his wellbeing.

Two weeks ago, Damien Houlihan (40) left Ireland with some cash and bank cards, but without his mobile phone.

In a bid to trace his whereabouts, his family were able to track that his bank laser card was used to purchase a train ticket on the Southern Railway to Brighton at 7.15am last Friday morning.

However, Damien has not been in contact with his family and they have grown very concerned for his safety.

Damien, originally from Adare in County Limerick, moved to Cork to live and work a number of years ago and two weeks ago travelled to London.

Purchasing the train ticket was Damien’s last known movement.

A missing person alert is being shared on social media in both Ireland and the UK.

Damien is described as being around six foot in height and of medium build.
