THE ALL Ireland, Munster and Limerick hurling champions, Na Piarsaigh, are out of this season’s campaign. The light blues who had lost their opening two games of the Limerick Senior hurling champions, were sent crashing out of this season’s competition, following Doon’s loss to Ballybrown yesterday evening.

Na Piarsaigh, who had to play their opening round of the 2016 championship just seven weeks after winning the 2015 All Ireland will now turn their attention to the county senior football championship, of which they are currently topping group 1.
