#BREAKING €200000 drugs haul made in Limerick

Gardai made the drug seizure in Croom, County Limerick this Friday

As part of an joint operation with Revenues Customs Service, Gardaí from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, assisted by Limerick Divisional Drugs Unit this Friday, seized a quantity of drugs with an estimated street value of €200,000.

The drugs were uncovered at a search of a house in Croom, Co Limerick.

A 37 year old man was arrested at the scene and is currently detained under Sect 2 Criminal Justice Drug trafficking Act 1996 at Henry St in Limerick.

Approximately 6kgs of cannabis herb and 1.2kgs of cocaine were found during the search.

Investigations are ongoing.
