screen-shot-2016-11-24-at-13-55-55LIT staff and students are set to hold Ireland’s largest ‘Mannequin Challenge’ on Wednesday, November 30th.

The trend, which has taken social media by storm, will find its way onto the Moylish Campus with over 200 people set to take the challenge as part of the institute’s Christmas MarketLink.

Funds raised from the event will go to the Children’s Ark Unit, Limerick Marine Search and Rescue, and Rape Crisis MidWest.

The MarketLink Entrepreneur Program event has raised thousands of euros for various charities over its eight years to date, and is a highlight on LIT’s events calendar.

Business Marketing Management and Social Care students will host the fun filled day, with the Christmas-themed market open to the public from 10am to 3pm.  50 different stalls will be present on the day selling festive goods including Christmas crackers, Advent calendars, Christmas logs, Personalised Baubles and gifts, Christmas candles, and Sock snowmen.
