Limerick defeat Clare in Mc Grath Cup Opener

NEW Limerick football manager Billy Lee started his reign with a strong  2-13 to 2-9 win over Clare in the McGrath Cup last night. Seamus O’Carroll topped the scoring charts with 1-4, while Sean Mc Sweeney collect four points on a bitterly cold night in the St Patrick’s GAA club. Limerick’s next game is on Sunday, January 15, against Waterford. The game, to be refereed by James Bermingham of Cork, throws in at 2pm in Lemybrien.
