PADDY ‘The Real Deal’ Donovan (27) will fight Karen Chukhadzhian (Ukraine) in Mannheim, Germany, this Friday night.
The winner here will become the mandatory challenger for whoever wins the soon-to-be rescheduled match between IBF Welterweight World Champion Lewis ‘Croc’ Crocker and challenger Liam Paro.
A Donovan/Croker fight is likely to be on the undercard of Katie Tayor’s possible farewell at Croke Park.
“I don’t want to look past Chukhadzhian because it will be an extremely tough fight, but the plan is for myself and Lewis Crocker to be chief support for the world title in our third fight, and at Croke Park,” Limerick man Donovan told the Irish Independent.
