Limerick raises €650 for ADAPT and Rape Crisis Midwest

A special Valentine’s Day coffee morning to mark V-Day, the global campaign to end violence against women and girls, has raised over €650.

The event at Green Yard Café raised a total of €664.78 for local charities ADAPT Domestic Abuse Services and Rape Crisis Midwest.

One in five women in Ireland have experienced some form of domestic abuse or sexual violence and funds raised from the V-Day event will go towards supporting local services provided by ADAPT Domestic Abuse Services and Rape Crisis Midwest.

Valentine’s Day coffee morning

Special Valentine’s Day themed food at the Coffee Morning was provided by Green Yard Café, and the event was supported by businesses including Bellissimo, The Happy Candle, The River Hair Studio, Hotel Meyrick and Renaissance Hair Gallery.
