Four consecutive shows cancel for actress Judith Ryan, March 1 to 4: 'Microdisney' and 'Kilonova' by Neil Flynn

READERS and concert goers, lovers of theatre, festivals and art, fasten yourselves to your armchairs at home. Appreciate that the following events are either cancelled, or more likely, postponed beyond this Siberian snow tiger cuddle. The venue managers and production artists are apologetic … and sensible.

Most of Limerick Choral Festival moves forward to other dates. Anyone with tickets for the  Friday 2 opening night concert in St Mary’s Cathedral for Limerick Chamber Choir and Ardhú Vocal Ensemble will have their ticket validated for Friday March 23, again 8pm. The move is to a new venue, St John’s Cathedral in Garryowen.

Organiser Dr Michael O’Brien tells Limerick Post that “all competitions will now take place the following weekend March 9 and 10 at the same venues and times. The concert at Sacred Heart Church on Sunday March 4 at 5pm (free in) will still go ahead as planned”. Tel. 086-825 5972 with any query.

Bottom Dog Theatre Company resumes their ‘4 Political Plays’ series at No. 1 Pery Square on Sunday March 11 with ‘In Quest of Conscience’. Written by Robert David MacDonald it will be directed by Aideen Wylde, seen her stage herself for the Belltable:Connect suite of 24hour plays.
