Probationer Gardaí have been added to Limerick City today, having been welcomed by Chief Superintendent Gerard Roche at Henry Street Garda Station in Limerick City.
The probationer Gardaí, from Limerick, Sligo, Offaly, Galway, Clare, Tipperary and Kerry will take up roles in Henry Street and Roxboro Garda Station.
Brendan O’Reilly, Probationer Garda originally from Sligo says he is looking forward to getting to know the locality, “I hope after the eight months we have done in college, we get a real grasp of the day-to-day dealings of being a member of the dealings of being a member of An Garda Síochána in modern day Ireland.”
