Man arrested after cannabis grow house discovered in Bruff

Gardaí have arrested a man in his 50s and seized suspected cannabis plants and cannabis herb worth an estimated €100,000 following the discovery of a grow house in Bruff, Co Limerick on the 3rd February 2019.

Shortly after 5am Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to fire at a building in Bruff, Co Limerick. Following a search of the property Gardaí discovered a grow house containing cannabis plants worth an estimated €25,000 and cannabis herb worth an estimated €75,000. The suspected drugs will now be sent for analysis.


As part of a follow up operation today, 5th February 2019, a man in his 50s was arrested. He is currently detained at Bruff Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
