AN up-and-coming Limerick-born author is celebrating the release of her debut novel.
And though she is living far from her native Limerick, in Sydney, Australia, the first novel by Claire O’Mahony Barry is very close to home.
The book, Diary of a Sesh Hound, is a romantic comedy set in Limerick that follows a group of university friends as they navigate friendships, relationships, and the ups and downs of student life.
“Much of the humour, dialogue, and spirit of the book is rooted in Irish culture and the experiences of growing up and studying in Ireland,” Claire said.
