FANS of Irish band Bell X1 travelled from all over Ireland to see the boys return to Limerick for a special show over Valentine’s weekend.

The gig took place Lime Tree Theatre on Saturday night and Paul, David and Dominic were joined by Dowry Strings (Éna Brennan) who provided string accompaniment for the night.

It’s been a very busy year for the band following on from a tour of America, Australia and Europe and five sell-out concerts at Vicar Street in Dublin earlier in 2019.

Despite their schedule, the boys were as energetic as ever and treated their fans in Limerick to a variety of songs from their seven albums with their usual mix of indie, synthpop, electronica and hard rock.

Lime Tree Theatre proved a brilliant venue for the concert with the audience lapping up old favourites like ‘Rocky Took a Lover’,  ‘Flame’ and ‘The Great Defector’ alongside tracks from their latest album ‘Arms’. As you can see from our photographs a fantastic evening was had by everyone lucky enough to secure tickets for the band’s recent Limerick gig.
