A FREE talk on chronic fatigue is to take place in Limerick City on May 21.
The Great National South Court Hotel will host Dr Amolak Bansal, an international expert on myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (MR/CFS).
The talk, kicking off from noon, is being hosted as part of a national lecture series the the Irish ME/CFS Association during ME Awareness Month.
ME/CFS is characterised by overwhelming fatigue made significantly worse by physical or mental activity — a hallmark feature known as post-exertional malaise.
The event is free and open to all, with no advance booking required.
The session will be followed by a Q&A session and refreshments will be provided.
