THE 13th annual St Gabriel’s Ladies fundraising luncheon organised in aid of St. Gabriel’s Centre has taken place in the Dunraven Arms in Adare.
Once again the hard working committee pulled out all the stops to make sure the occasion remains the most popular fundraising luncheon in the region with unbelievable support as always for the Centre in Dooradoyle.
There were many highlights for the stylish ladies attending to enjoy including a delightful pre-lunch reception on arrival followed by a delicious lunch.
There was a superb array of raffle prizes such as vouchers, overnight stays, hampers and spa treatments and a beautiful door prize sponsored by Keanes Jewellers. Special guest from Barnado’s children’s welfare charity, Fergus Finlay spoke passionately about the importance of St Gabriel’s work and CEO Maria O’Leary also spoke, thanking the ladies for supporting the Limerick charity which strives daily to improve the quality of life of children with multiple physical disabilities. The ladies then relaxed in the beautiful garden area of the Dunraven Arms where there was live music throughout the afternoon, helping to bring a perfect end to the day.
