The Wedding Present celebrate Bizarro

INDIE stalwarts, The Wedding Present followed up their breakthrough record ‘George Best’ with the Chris Allison produced Bizarro in 1989.
The album fizzes with multiple layers of glorious guitar noise and marathon riffage workouts, never has indie angst sounded like so much fun. The tracks Brassneck and Kennedy are bone fida indie classics.

As DJ John Peel summed it up, “The boy Gedge has written some of the best love songs of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Era. You may dispute this, but I’m right and you’re wrong!”

The Wedding Present play Bizzaro in full at Dolan’s this Friday May 24
