FIRE tenders and crews were this Tuesday afternoon fighting a blaze at the back of Mungret College on the outskirts of Limerick city.
The fire was on farmland to the rear of the historic college building.
Three units were sent to the scene by Limerick Fire Service after an alarm was raised shortly before 3.30pm
The gardai are also in attendance.
