Youthpass presentation at Limerick Youth Service

YOUNG people who participated in the SHAM (Space Helps our Attitude and Mental Health) youth exchange with Limerick Youth Service were recently presented with their EU Youthpass Certificates

A two-part programme, it was run in partnership with the Maltese youth organisation Aġenzija Żgħażagħ and Léargas over a two-year period.

The international youth work programme focused on the role physical and personal space can have a young person’s mental wellbeing with young people from across Limerick City and County taking part.

The participants were members of a number of LYS groups/projects including the Northside Youth Space, Limerick Comhairle na nÓg, Rathkeale Youth Space, Irishtown Garda Youth Diversion Project and Ballingarry Youth Club.

The EU Youthpass is a European recognition tool for non-formal learning in youth work where participants can describe what they have done and show what they have learnt.
