The Flag Listeners showcase new material this Friday

The Flag Listeners

THE Flag Listeners/ ex-Toucandance frontman Eamonn Hehir formed The Flag Listeners in order to play music from his solo albums. But the band rapidly outgrew that brief, developing a distinct band sound that culminated in the release of the album ‘and other short stories’ in October, 2017.

The album was launched to a packed house in Dolan’s Warehouse.
Hot Press magazine’s Stuart Clark gave the album a glowing review, calling it a “songwriting masterclass from Limerick’s finest.” It has since received extensive airplay from Tom Dunne, Paul McLoone among others.
The Flag Listeners play The Record Room, Commercial Bar this Friday March 6.

As well as familiar songs from the albums and live set, expect to hear lots of new songs currently being rehearsed and demo’d for the next album.
