Limerick’s Lost Boys give Sadie an early release

LIMERICK band Lost Boys will release their plaintive track ‘Sadie’ this Friday 17. Released early due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the track is part of their EP due for a Summer launch.

“It’s a change of pace to the rest of our music and it’s happy yet sad themes coincide with how everyone is feeling stuck at home,” the band reports.

“Sadie is about reality. It’s about how you’ll walk by someone in pain on the street when at the same time all you really want to do is connect with someone. It seems to be a simple want that no one can achieve anymore”

The song features guest vocals from Aoife Meade and the fiddle playing of Deirdre Doherty.

Lost Boys played two sell out shows in early 2020 and achieved thousands of streams for their previous output.
