UNDERAGE soccer in Limerick has received a timely boost with National Cup success for both Aisling Annacotty and Fairview Rangers.
Derek McCarthy managed Aisling were snug 6-1 winners over Dingle Bay Rovers (Kerry) in the U14 National Cup Final in Kilkenny.
Wesley Fitzgerald managed Fairview to edge past St. Kevin’s Boys, 2-1, in the U15 National Cup Final in Dublin.
The winning goal in extra time was scored by the captain Ciaran Maher.
