Gavin will get the post-Covid ball rolling

-

HITMAKER Gavin James will end the Covid entertainment lockdown when he kicks off a series of drive-in gigs at a customised site on the Dock Road in July.

Dolan’s Presents has joined forces with Limerick City and County Council and Cooper Developments to stage the Live at the Drive-in event on Friday, July 24.

Attendees will watch the gig from the comfort of their cars with four people per car permitted. It is an all-ages show with no bars on site. Live at the Drive-in will see a full production stage as well as two especially erected big screens to enhance the visual experience.

Promoter Mick Dolan said that the Live at the Drive-in is the first of a series of shows that will be announced in the coming weeks.
“These gigs will give people the chance to still see live music while maintaining strict social distancing measures from the comfort of their cars. It is our hope that we will be adding some other big name acts to the July line-up shortly,”

Attendance for the event is limited to 250 cars and it is recommended that only members of the same household attend in the same car.
As well as the stage speakers, the concert will be broadcast on an FM frequency on-site for car radios.

Tickets for this family friendly event will be on sale on www.dolans.ie from 9am this Friday May 29.
