Limerick in level 3: here’s what you need to know

LIMERICK moved in level 3 of restrictions along with the rest of the country today and it will be reviewed again in three weeks time.

Here are the restrictions in place for the coming weeks:

Social and Family gatherings – A maximum of 6 people from 1 other household can visit your home.

Weddings – Only 25 guest can attend a wedding. Guests must be from within the same county.

Organised Indoor Gathering – Certain organised event can take place in a controlled environment such as training, business events and conferences. This is also includes theatres and arts events.

Organised Outdoor Gathering – Certain organised event can take place in a controlled environment such as training, business events and conferences. This is also includes theatres and arts events. Maximum of 15 people.

Sports – outdoor training in pods of 15 outdoors is allowed with no contact. Elite and professional sports are exempt. Indoor training for individuals only.

Gyms and leisure centres can remain open but individual training only.

Religious Services – all are moved online.

Funerals – 25 people can attend.

Bars, cafes, restaurants – may remain open for takeaway only and/ or outdoor dining with a maximum of 15 people.

Hotels and accommodation – may remain open for residents only.

Retail and services (including salons) – can remain open.

Work – work from home unless necessary to work on site/ in an office.

Education – All schools remain open.
