Stephen O’Connor, General Manager of the Limerick Strand Hotel, has been elected Chair of the Shannon Branch of the Irish Hotels Federation (IHF), which represents hotels and guesthouses in Clare and Limerick.
In a hotel career that spans more than 20 years, he joined the MHL Hotel Collection in 2015 where he has held the positions of General Manager of Harbour Hotel Galway and General Manager of the Limerick Strand Hotel.
He has previously worked in Switzerland for InterContinental Hotel Group and was General Manager of the Park Hotel in Westport for four years when it reopened in 2005.
A native of Wexford, he has been an active member of the Irish Hotel Federation during this career.
