Car stolen following break-in in Castletroy

LIMERICK gardaí are investigating a burglary that took place in Castletroy on the night of Thursday August 4, which saw the front door forced in at a house in Castlebrook, College Court.

Several items were stolen including a laptop, a PlayStation, two debit cards, and the resident’s car keys. The burglar used the keys to steal the resident’s car, which was later found on St Alphonsus Street in Limerick City.

Gardaí at Henry Street are appealing for information from anyone who was in the College Court area between 2am and 6am on August 4, who may have witnessed anything unusual. They are also seeking information on a black Volkswagen Golf bearing the registration number 132 CE. Gardaí can be contacted at 061 382940.
