Final four line-up for county hurling title

THE semi-final line-up in the Bon Secours Limerick Senior Hurling Championship is now complete.

Holders Kilmallock will take on Doon at Bruff on Sunday with a 3.30pm throw-in. The previous afternoon, again with a 3.30pm start, hot-favourites Na Piarsaigh will be opposed by South Liberties at John Fitzgerald Park, Kilmallock.

Dean Coleman nipped through for Doon’s quarter-final match-winning goal against Kildimo/Pallaskenry at the weekend, while Brian Ryan did likewise for South Liberties in their shock victory over Patrickswell in their quarter final.

The final is fixed for the TUS Gaelic Grounds for Sunday, October 30.  Limerick’s county ground is currently nearing the end of its pitch rehabilitation works.

The semi-final pairings for the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship  are Bruff v Newcastle West (Saturday, Ballyagran at 3.30pm) and Effin v Monaleen (Sunday, Fedamore at 1pm).
