SATURDAY, October 22 is sure to be a very long day for Na Piarsaigh Camogie Club when they hold a marathon ‘camogathon’ from dawn to dusk.

Club players from under-six to adult level are preparing to play camogie for ten hours from 8am to 6pm to raise funds  for the ongoing development of the club.

Along with its two adult sides, the club has teams competing in all underage age competitions in Limerick and several players have lined out in the county colours this year.

The Liam MacCarthy Cup will be on display and with some of the All-Ireland winning Limerick team in attendance, the event is sure to generate great excitement around the community and everyone is welcome to pop over at any stage during the day.

There will also be a Hook and Ladder coffee van in the club car park and all proceeds will go towards the ‘Three Bridges’ fundraising walk for breast cancer research.
