TREATY United will be without the services of established centre-half Sean Guerins for the new season, but the door has been left ajar for a possible return to the Markets Field.

The Tipperary man has confirmed he is to leave the club due to work commitments.

Guerins was one of the 26 players that formed the first Treaty Senior squad, making his competitive debut in the opening game of the historic 2021 season against Bray Wanderers. During his time in Limerick, Guerins made over 50 appearances for the club.

Elsewhere, Munster Junior Cup action takes centre-stage on Sunday next with some interesting fixtures. Ballynanty Rovers travel out the county to tackle Rathkeale; Nenagh entertain Dunmanway Town; Regional United entertain Blarney United; Charleville are at St Kevin’s; and Fairview Rangers (B) welcome Tramore of Waterford.
