Gillane returns for Limerick clash with Westmeath

Aaron Gillane is named among the substitutes for Limerick's National League clash with Westmeath

AARON Gillane has been named amongst the Limerick replacements for Sunday’s National Hurling League outing with Westmeath at Cusack Park, Mullingar, 2pm. 

The inclusion of the three-time All-Star in the match-day squad puts to bed speculation about his future participation with John Kiely’s All-Ireland and Munster Champions. Mike Casey of county kingpins Na Piarsaigh is also listed as a substitute, while Diarmaid Brynes has returned from a pre-arranged holiday and is handed the number five jersey.

Captain Declan Hannon, who picked-up an injury in the opener against Cork, remains out of the equation but is likely to return for the contest with Wexford the weekend after next.
