Limerick business owner gives a voice to MND patients

Michael O'Neill of O'Neill Industrial

A LIMERICK business owner is organising a charity cycle to raise much needed funds for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA).

Michael O’Neill, of O’Neill Industrial, will hold the 80km cycle to raise funds so the IMNDA can purchase an Eye Gaze device, a piece of equipment that allows a person who has lost their voice to speak with the aid of a computer screen that picks up eye movement.

He is organising the event in honour of his friend, the late John Mulcahy from Mallow, who passed away in February.

The fundraising cycle will take place on Saturday, April 22, setting off from McMahon’s Bar in Ardnacrusha.
