Audiences in Sixmilebridge to be rockin’ this weekend

Members of Sixmilebridge Youth Club who will stage Beachside Story next week.

THE CAST and crew of Sixmilebridge Youth Club are gearing up for their annual stage show, with a production of ‘Rockin’ the 80s‘.

The cast will be rockin’ audiences in the local GAA hall over three nights from Thursday April 13 to Saturday April 15, each with a 7pm start.

Having staged numerous pantomimes over the last two decades, the club has decided to take this year’s show in a new, retro direction.

Producers of the show have promised a thoroughly entertaining evening, featuring dazzling costumes, captivating musical numbers, and spectacular dance routines.

The show is co-produced by Sharon Kennedy, Ciara Downes, Grace Collins, Lorraine Owens and Liam Togher, with choreography from Emmanuel Okubanjo and Kaci Toomey and choral choreography from Michelle Barry, while Ben Naughton-Shires has been hard at work as stage manager.
