FOLLOWING their 2022 Mission Sunday Collection, the Limerick and Killaloe Church of Ireland Diocesan Council made a generous donation to two charitable organisations.

A sum of more than €4,500 apiece was donated to both St Vincent de Paul and Protestant Aid on behalf of the Church of Ireland United Diocese of Tuam, Limerick, and Killaloe.

Diocesan Council Treasurer Canon Jane Galbraith presented the groups with their cheques at a special event  in the Woodlands Hotel in Adare last week. The Annual Mission Sunday Collection is held each year at the end of November, with funds raised going to organisations performing important work in the community.
