GARDAÍ investigating a violent disorder incident in the Arthur’s Quay/Patrick’s Street area of Limerick City yesterday evening have arrested a man.
The man, described by Gardaí as being in his 20s, is currently being detained in a Limerick Garda Station under Section 4 of The Criminal Justice Act 1984.
The area was busy with pedestrians at the time and Gardaí have also issued an appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
