AFTER a brief recess, action returns across the League of Ireland’s First Division at the weekend.

On Friday, Treaty United will seek a return to winning ways away to third-place Athlone Town (kick-off 7.45pm).

Treaty, who have lost their last three fixtures (and four of their last five), currently rest in eighth position in the table standings, with 20 points from 19 fixtures.

For a selection of reasons, Treaty are currently working from a tight squad of players.

Meanwhile, the club’s Annual Golf Classic will take place at Ballyneety on Thursday next (June 29).
