AFTER a blistering sold out performance Live at The Big Top in December, Block Rockin Beats will return to Limerick for a “Live at The Castle” show in King John’s Castle on Friday August 25.
This will be the biggest show so far in the city for Dec Pierce’s Block Rockin Beats – a performance of the world’s biggest dance anthems featuring a DJ set with full live band, plus special guests.
Block Rockin Beats is a live venue and festival performance version of Dec Pierce’s radio show of the same name on Today FM – where rave meets rock music.
A pumped up jam where both music styles unite for one unmissable performance. Expect songs such as No Good (Start the dance) alongside Smells Like Teen Spirit and Beastie Boys’ Sabotage.
“The show is all about energy, nostalgia, and fun – it’s a concert but we want you to lose yourself for a few hours. We want you to go back in time to experience these classic anthems with a full live band and special guests on vocals. It’s a unique music and visual experience,” says DJ Dec Pierce
Speaking at the announcement this morning, Mick Dolan said “Dec Pierces show brings raw energy enthusiasm and is filled with classics from many genres, his shows are turning into the highlights of the musical calendar”
“Step by step his shows have emerged from his radio show to Dolans Warehouse, To the Big Top and now King John’s Castle”
Tickets are on sale this Friday June 30 from 9am from Dolans.ie
